STUDIO 100 APPOINTS TWO EXECUTIVE PRODUCERS TO BOOST COMPANY’S EUROPEAN SLATE
Studio 100 Media is pleased to announce the appointment of Manuela Lumb and Richard Rowe as Executive Producers. This comes at a time when the company is actively adding new content to its portfolio. Their responsibilities will include scouting and developing new projects and IPs for kids’ series in addition to identifying partners for co-development and co-production.
Studio 100’s comedy-adventure CGI series “Vegesaurs” (20 x 5’) makes its UK debut on CBeebies today. Broadcast on the channel’s Discover & Do zone in a weekday morning slot, the captivating series will also stream on BBC iPlayer. In addition, Studio 100 Media has already launched several social media channels to support the brand’s awareness and is continuously adding fresh content on TikTok, Instagram, Facebook, and YouTube.
LOTUS GLOBAL MARKETING TO REP “MIA AND ME” IN BRAZIL
Studio 100 Media is aiming to take advantage of the top ratings and massive YouTube figures achieved for its hit series “Mia and me” (O mundo de Mia) in Brazil, by collaborating with leading licensing agency Lotus Global Marketing. The agency will be developing a licensing program and opening new markets for “Mia and me” in Brazil and whole LATAM. Seasons 1 and 2 of this empowering series have been on air continuously on the free television network TV Cultura since 2020.

Germany’s Studio 100 Film, Australia’s POP Family Entertainment, and Ireland’s Telegael are delighted to announce an outstanding voice cast for the highly anticipated animated comedy feature “Being Betty Flood”.
Headlining the cast as Betty Flood is Evanna Lynch – best known for her role as Luna Lovegood in the “Harry Potter” film series. She is supported by celebrated actors Miranda Otto (“The Lord of the Rings” trilogy, “The Chilling Adventures of Sabrina”) as Aneska Flood, and Richard Roxburgh (“Elvis”, “Rake”) as Murkhart.
STUDIO 100 ANNOUNCES PRODUCTION OF “HEIDI” ANIMATION MOVIE
Studio 100 Media is set to produce a brand-new animation film about the famous little girl from the Swiss Alps “Heidi”. Studio 100 is the rights holder of the classic 1974 anime series and producer of the CGI series from 2015, followed by a second season in 2019. The adventurous series, all adapted from the timeless novel about the orphan girl from Switzerland, written by Johanna Spyri, has still not lost its sparkle and fascination.
FLYING BARK PRODUCTIONS SET TO PRODUCE “200% WOLF” FILM
Flying Bark Productions has today announced production of “200% Wolf” – the much-anticipated sequel to the internationally successful feature film, “100% Wolf”. The film will be distributed across Australia by StudioCanal while Studio 100 Film is managing international sales.
A co-production with Spain’s Atlantika Films and Western Australia’s Siamese, “200% Wolf” is produced with major production funding from Screen Australia, and financed in association with Screenwest and Lotterywest.
STUDIO 100 MEDIA NAMES MACMILLAN CHILDREN’S BOOKS MASTER PUBLISHER FOR “VEGESAURS”
Studio 100 Media and Macmillan Children’s Books (UK) join forces on an exciting journey with the new preschool series ‘Vegesaurs’. The publishing house has acquired all international rights (excluding Australia and New Zealand), in all languages for an extensive global publishing program, which will include a range of formats. The first publishing program is set to launch in Spring 2023 with two picture books, followed by two story board books in Summer 2023, with more to follow.
Studio 100 Media has signed an agreement with the BBC for the CGI, comedy-adventure series ‘Vegesaurs’. Produced by independent Australian producer Cheeky Little Media in association with the Australian Broadcasting Company (ABC), France TV and Studio 100, the mighty ‘Vegesaurs’ (20 x 5’) will make their debut on CBeebies and BBC iPlayer later this year.
FLYING BARK PRODUCTIONS ANNOUNCES APPOINTMENT OF SARAH HARPER TO CREATIVE DIRECTOR – 2D
Flying Bark Productions has today announced the appointment of Sarah Harper to Creative Director – 2D.
In her new role, Sarah will oversee 2D projects for both original and client service work in the Sydney studio and will help spearhead Flying Bark Productions’ further expansion into original content with a specific focus on anime-influenced traditional animation and Flying Bark’s recently announced After Bark brand.
STUDIO 100 MEDIA PARTNERS WITH SPI INTERNATIONAL FOR DIGITAL RIGHTS OF 2D ANIMATION CLASSICS
Studio 100 Media has closed a multibrand deal with global media company SPI International for digital exploitation of several 2D animation classic series from its extensive catalogue. The contract will give SPI non-exclusive worldwide AVOD and SVOD rights (with the exception of a few territories per program) on SPI platforms such as FilmBox+, FilmBox on Demand, Film1, ToonzBox and ToonzStream.

Studio 100 Media’s highly anticipated animation feature “The Hero of Centopia” has now finished production and is ready for delivery just in time for this year’s Marché du Film. The movie, based on the internationally popular and highly successful brand and CGI/live-action TV series “Mia and me” will have its first theatrical release in Germany, Austria, and German-speaking Switzerland on 26th May, followed by France, Spain, and French-speaking Switzerland on 20th July, Hungary on 11th August and Bulgaria on 23rd September 2022.
